Edmonton Oilers history

The Edmonton Oilers entered the WHA in 1972
and the NHL in 1979 and is still present in the NHL now. They have won five
Stanley cup in seven years. They won in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988,and in 1990. The
Edmonton Oilers home town is in Alberta Canada.
The Oilers were temporarily renamed the next
year they changed their name back. They were one of four teams put into the NHL
by WHA merger. One of their greatest achievements was getting Wayne Gretzky.
